    close, but keep in mind every LED is different. You can wire up with a MR board.

    I don't know about performing better. I personally like the P4s better than the LEDengines. they are easier to solder. I only use the Deep red if I want a really sith-like color.

    Heres what i've personally found in terms of brightness on the LEDs (all using the 8.7 degree lens sold here, and driven at their proper power levels and using the correct holder) This is between the 3ws and 5w LEDs that are still in production.

    Brightest Royal Blue: Rebel Royal Blue
    Brightest Blue: Rebel Blue
    Brightest Cyan: Rebel Cyan
    Brightest Green: Rebel Green
    Brightest White: Rebel White
    Brightest Amber: LEDEngin 5w Amber
    Brightest and Purest Red (No orangish tint): LEDEngin 5w Deep Red
