    Default "Apprentice" MHS rebuild

After having completely failed to finish my original scrap steel hilt "Apprentice," I decided my first MHS build would be a resurrection of the same design.

    trim ring 1
    BH 1
silver protected switch (M/L depending on soundboard)
    18" sleeve
    4xChassis disk 3
    3x4-40 threaded rod
    3x3/16" alum. tube
    12x4-40 nuts
    Premium speaker
    8-32 thumb screw (+ BH drill&tap service)
    7.2v Li-Ion PCB
    2xtrustfire 14500
    recharge port

    Other Sources:
    3x4-40 torx head machine screw
    1.5" heatshrink

Depending on internal space constraints, the recharge port will either be in-pommel, or inside a custom covertec knob made out of 5/8" roundstock that would thread into the hilt.

Really like the unfinished steel saber, very nice design, and admirable to be able to construct something like that from scrap parts, and the CSS one is looking great at concept stage. I always am amazed at how almost any design can be built using CSS parts (within reason of course) and your creation is a perfect case in point.Good luck!
