Congratulations. It's a good looking build. One question though, what is the round object between your accent LEDs and the aux button? Is it just decorative?

Yes, it is only decorative. In the planning stages I wasn't sure of the dimensions of the "switch05" in the store. I wanted a small momentary switch like you see now. I mistakenly ordered "standard switch hole service" not knowing how big the hole was going to be. So I used a brass knurled knob from the hardware store to cover it up. I regretted the stupid mistake at first, but the knob looks very "lightsabery" and just looks like it belongs there. I guess I'll call it, "blade length adjust" or "multi-phase crystal selector."

Seriously though, thanks for the compliments. Like I said in my description...I learned there is a WHOLE LOT more to building these things than you think at first. Even with all of the parts pre-fabricated and electronics already designed and engineered. My hat's off to all of the "Ervs" and "Tims" who made it possible for a doofus like me put something like this together.

I was wondering, did you use the gold button because the silver has been out of stock for a while? Just wondering, cause other then mine, that is the 3rd gold one I've seen. I till love that saber!! I would just copy you so i could have it! lol

Yes, I wanted the silver one, but it was out of stock. But I thought the gold wouldn't be too out of place. It kind of goes with the brass knob thingie and the gold accent ring. BTW, if you do copy it, let me know how you deal with the internal arrangement. I had a heck of a time.
