It is correct as long as it is just a kill plug and not a recharge port.

This is how would wire your US2.5

To do the recharge, The Negative from the board goes to the middle pin, The Neg, on the batt, goes to the pin on the left, Both Positive go to the pin on the right.

Well if you don't switch them you're going to recharge your US 2.5 and not your battery
