Talking My First Saber - MKI

Hello everyone! I've been reading in this forum since mid-April, when I started my first saber... You guys are crazy-knowledgeable about all this stuff, and it's been very educational. Thanks to everyone who replied to my first thread about my soundboard issues. It's amazing what you can do when you go from 75 watts to 15...

Being that it's my first saber, I'm just calling it the Mark I (MKI)...

    So, here's the specs:

Lux Rebel (Red & Royal Blue am-I-feeling-Sithy-today-quick-change-setup)
    MR Maul soundboard
    4.8v NiMh (4x1.2v 1000mah AAA)
    Recharge port
    Red ring lighted AV switch
MHS parts w/ brass sink tube sleeve panels
Blade in pics is 35" thin TCSS white poly, sanded, no insert

Let me know what you think!

So many screws! (I like that)

This saber is really awesome for your first one. Makes me feel inadequate about my first (an FX Anakin conversion) lol. I'd like it even more if the shroud over the emitter had holes to match it so the light still shines through. It'd look a lot better imo (I love that emitter, it should be a sin to cover the holes lol).

I like the patina that's already starting to show up on the brass.

Thanks! The patina is incredibly hard to keep OFF the brass, lol...

Very nice saber, looks tough and has a JGJ feel to it with the brass shrouds.
