Thread: Illuminated switch and the Petit Crouton Sound Module wiring.

Default Illuminated switch and the Petit Crouton Sound Module wiring.

I have sort of read the manual (I say sort because I'm having trouble finding this part of the manual)

I'm getting a DPDT Latching green illuminated switch and the Petit Crouton Sound Module but I was wondering if I would need a resistor and if the light on the switch means I have to wire it differently. An answer would help me out so much.

It is recommended that you put a small (1 ohm or so) resistor on the LED in the switch. There are a lot of points you can power it from on the PC. Just look through the manual for places you can wire an accent LED. Any of the 3.3v regulated pads will work fine.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Alright thank you. When I get all my parts I'll take a picture of how I will wire it before soldering. Thank you very much.
