Thread: Presenting - Kels'an A'Rad

    Default Presenting - Kels'an A'Rad

    Story:
A longtime friend of mines wedding anniversary was coming up, and since he loved the sabers I have built so far, a couple friends of mine and I decided to build him a saber for his anniversary. Kels’an A’rad is the name of his Jedi character that he’s had in the SW RPG game we’ve been playing for the past year plus, so it seemed like a natural fit for the saber name, and the tie in for the kill key

    Specs:
    • MHS parts with Black Chrome PC on the pommel & ribbed section
    • Jay Gon Jinn styled shroud work (Xthlord did the work, but heavily influenced by Jay-Gon’s work)
    • TCSS Blade plug
    • TCSS “Corbin” show blade
    • Econo Soundboard w/TCSSS Premium speaker
    • P4 Blue LED
    • Single Li-On 18650 battery
    • Accent LED powers on when kill key is removed.
    • Custom built chassis (shown in project thread)
    • Custom d20 kill key

Sleek. The shroud work is pretty nice and the kill key is just awesome; really makes me wanna work on my home game.. Only thing I don't like is the pommel; it looks so outta place and clunky on this saber.

Beautiful, clean build. Really like the display box. Hope this saber adds an extra element of entertainment in your game play!

Good on ya! Gotta love the D20 & I dig the way the Black Chrome works in the grooves.

I really like this saber a lot. The kill key is, of course, epic and the shroud makes it unique and enhances the overall shiny beauty of it all. I also think blue was an excellent choice for the blade. I'm not sure it would work as well with a red or even green blade.
And by the way, I like the pommel. It helps give the saber more definition and shape and I don't think it clashes with the design at all. It also gives you something else to grip if the saber starts to slip from your hands.
I also really like the box. It looks so... comfy.
    Well done.

Very nice that black chrome PC rocks, nice shroud and blue blade definitely works with this saber. Too cool!
