The Corellian Khanda by Darth Inferis.
Okay, this saber has been a real labour of love for me. I started making it about a year ago. It's my first MHS saber.
My friend Daren was kind enough to wire up the accent LED driver board. Just as well really because the board can power up to 8 LED's, has 20
pre programmed animations & is smaller than my thumb nail! My soldering iron just wasn't up to the task (it's a bit bulky & as subtle as a half brick).
The name is a reference to my Anglo Indian heritage. A Khanda is an Indian two handed sword & is also a sacred symbol in the Sikh religion.
As this was built to be a two handed saber the name seemed perfect. I also wanted the saber to be basic, earthy & natural.
The kind of saber a Jedi with a strong connection to the natural world would use.
I could see it being used by a Correlian Jedi like Quinlan Vos.
The Specs
As mentioned an MHS hilt with a custom LED plate made by Daren & I. Brown distressed leather sleeve grip hand cut & stitched by me.
Master Replicas Yoda soundboard hard wired to an MR Yoda battery plug.
An accent LED driver board wired up to the soundboard output & powering 6x5mm cyan LED's.
LuxeonIII cyan bin 3 (near as I can tell)
The pics.
(Dusty old shelf time. lol)
And the videos
(I use the term very loosely, the quality is awful because I filmed it on my mobile phone. Apologies in advance.)
