    Thanks for the kind words. My wiring is really ugly in there, as I went a bit overboard on quick-connects and ran into space issues. Showing off the cram-job in there wouldn't have helped. I'm definitely moving on to a chassis with my next builds.
    We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

    Cannibal869 - I was a fan of this saber right when I saw it. Reminds me of some of VV's older builds. I've never seen a saber with a springloaded crystal chamber reveal like that. Very well done, I'd like to see some build pics. Remember to heatshrink the threaded rods in your chassis to avoid grounding out the sound board or battery pack (the insulation on those is really thin). Your shroud looks like it wasn't sanded very much, either. That's what takes the build over the edge.
    Thanks Lord Maul - coming from you those are high words of praise. The threaded rods got additional shrink wrap after that pic was taken Honestly there were some seriously AWESOME builds in this year's contest. Congrats to everyone for a job *very* well done!!!
