    I don't think, red and amber Rebels can take that much current, from what I've read.

    Ya ya.. you know what I mean... 1500mA... Max it out... Light it up... Set it on fire.... Burn it to the ground.... Also I'm currently running a LUX III red at 1.5 on a PCU been doing so for the last week and have not had one problem...

    If you happen to have a luxeon III red, red/o or amber, those can be safely run on 1500ma as they were spec'd originally to run at 2.95v, 1540ma.
