    Smile Hi New here.

    I just made my first two sabers last week. Sorry I have no pics. But I basicly remade my Luke ROTJ FX sader into my own, with the convertion kit. And the other is just a 'Sun Saber?" red Star LED. I made out of an old dollar store led flash light to house the battery & the stem of my old solar porch light. I was going to put the older before 2010 O-B-1 hasbro board in it. But when I got ready to start, it was dead. I do plan on making another and have pics to show. I've made electronic cigarette box mods & e-cig flashlight mobs before, but that's the extent of my electronics. I did have, & will have a lot of questions. I spent all my time on here for help on my last two sabers. Glad to be here.

    WOW, sounds like your on your way toward your 2nd build.. SWEEEET.. (obviously usually its recommended that you read ALL the stickies as thats where the "gold" is) but I'm sure since you sound as if your lurking has paid off, you already know this.

    can you explain this cigirette mod you speak of? what does it do?

    and dont worry to much about electronic knowledge if you start small and work your way up, youll be calling yourself an expect before you know it haha (maybe)

    I think you mean "expert", not "expect".

    Thank everyone. I just finished the the guts of my next saber. I'm using an Anikan Hasbro sound board. It was harb, getting the on/off switch wired the way the button is set up. Waiting on parts. Boy I can't wait!

    @Gin
    I make "e-cigs" cause i quit smoking and it is cheaper to make on for 10 to 20 bucks the spend 50 to 100 bucks for the same fuctions. I make mine out of battery boxes and LED flash lights. I used the same idea to make my saber. I basicly straight wire the + and ground to the wall of the flashlight, and BAM! a nice lil battery holder. I use 18500 batteries in them. And a "Sun saber" is mad almost the same way when making a 3.v device. But when I make 5v devices it's a lil more tricky. I need a regulator then.
