Why all black? Are you trying to be stealthy?

Don't kill me, or flame me please , but I don't really think the way you filled the mohawk gaps looks that good. And that black paint just accentuates the uneven look of the whole thing.

Since my mohawk was painted silver, I just used a wide piece of pin striping tape over my small gap.

Yeah, I didn't fill it perfectly...

It's not the black that brings it out. It's the clear coat. In person it doesn't quite catch the light so well. Works for me... I've seen some pretty nasty looking helmets in real life too. :P

    Not trying to nit-pick,
...but yer decals have air bubbles in them, you should have rolled them out with a small roller before they set in, the clear coat just highlights those mistakes.

The only thing I would do would be to make the Rebel emblems a brighter red to make then stand out more.

That's a good idea, they are lost in the black of the helmet,
BUT -take better care to roll out the air bubbles, and it will look very sweet.

I prefer to paint things on instead of decals, to me I think they look better

It's actually the edges that are popping up. I rolled it out, but again it doesn't bother me. I like the non-OMG red too. :P
