I'm building this for my friends, sons 5th birthday. I assembled the hilt today4/5/11. I'm just waiting for my buddy to give me the necessary credits for the internals & blade.

I finished his saber today 4/16/11. Here it is lit up.

I KNEW the dark power of the pvc would call the master back from playing around in that mhs pile.... dude what you do with pvc makes me drool... (and I'm sure the kids are drooling everywhere too, thats what its really all about).. I love how in all your builds.. you get that.. (*cough.. ahem*) ehh yeah go Dark Side! yeah! (hehehe).

7.5/5 (what, were darkside of course we cheated)

Pretty slick! I like the coordination on the Swiss Cheese Shroud & Emitter, the angles of both overlays, and the look of the pommel.

Thank you everybody. His birthday is this Friday, I can't wait to here about his reaction. I know he's going to love it, his father loves it, I had tell him not to were out the batteries before he gives it to him. Dgdve, I've fallen in the deep end of the pvc pool. I was just going to finish my Darth Nihl saber & focus on a few MHS builds, which I'm still going to do. But! while I was carving on my Nihl saber, I had several new ideas hit me. So now I have 4 more pvc projects to work on, an I've planned to rebuild my wife's saber in MHS, & I have an MHS /sink tube build planned for myself. I really need L.A. I think. (Lightsabers Anonymous) No, that would not be fun. I just keep telling myself, "Focus on one project at a time." It's really more challenging than one would think.
JR, I don't care if you use any design ideas, go for it. As for the switch, I mounted a red dot guarded latching switch in the pommel. Thank you everyone for positive the feedback.
