    These are NOT manufacturers rated settings. These were tested with a multimeter off of a 7.4 Li-Ion 18650 pack using LEDs from TCSS.

    Rebel Royal Blue 875mW @700mA

    1500mA = 3.46V
    1200mA = 3.38V
    1000mA = 3.30V
    700mA = 3.25V
    350mA = 3.05V

    Rebel Blue 58lm @ 700mA
    1500mA = 3.80V
    1200mA = 3.70V
    1000mA = 3.58V
    700mA = 3.40V
    350mA = 3.00V

    LEDEngin 5W Deep Red
    1500mA = 2.84V
    1200mA = 2.70V
    1000mA = 2.60V
    700mA = 2.38V
    350mA = 2.04V

    Rebel White 320lm @ 1000mA

    1500mA = 3.28V
    1200mA = 3.20V
    1000mA = 3.15V
    700mA = 3.07V
    350mA = 2.79V

    Rebel Green 166lm @ 700mA

    1500mA = 3.50V
    1200mA = 3.35V
    1000mA = 3.28V
    700mA = 3.15V
    350mA = 2.9V

    Rebel Cyan Bin 1 120lm @ 700mA
    1500mA = 3.75V
    1200mA = 3.60V
    1000mA = 3.50V

    HI there,

    I have an RGBW that I want to resistor to cyan, and am a little fuzzy on how to accomplish this. I have tried both series and parallel wiring, and when I add extra resistance to either the B ro G dies I do not get any difference in color.

    For my test I am adding a resistor to the "+" lead of the die, and then using that resistor to connect to the one needed to actually run the LED. Is this correct, or is the color resistor supposed to go somewhere else in the chain.

    Its possible that I am just using the wrong value (which is why I am in the column but unfortunately no cyan here) so I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction with a rough figure for my setup (w/7.4v pack)

    Also, do I need to use a series setup for this configuration? The parallelled LEDS are much brighter by comparison...

    Thanks for responding Jay I always appreciate your input.

    I am doing a static test at the moment, but plan on connectiing this to a PC 2.0 board or possibly my igniter R2 (although that one I can just change the color in the config file so no big deal there)

    You'd need to have the board first. There's a lot of variable's, so you'd need your final setup before a final solution could be used.

    Okay, well right now I have a parallelled setup with B+G connected to a PC 2.0. I tried putting a pot on the blue die today with the hopes it would affect the color and then I could meter the pot, but all it does is dim the brightness, no color change.

    Update...

    So I hooked up the unit to my PC this evening and was indeed able to get a color difference with a 10 ohm resistor on a parallelled G+B setup. There seems to be pretty bad color separation though. I tried 2, 5 and 15 ohm resistor values and 10 ohm seems to be best color wise. I tried the same setup but with the two die serialled, and there was a considerable brightness decrease, and got the same color separation, so I promptly returned to parallel.

    I may just stay with sky blue, it actually is a lot nicer than I expected.
