Thread: Questions about the chassis disks and threaded rods

Default Questions about the chassis disks and threaded rods

First of I gotta say these chassis disks look great! Was so excited when I first saw them. Great job But wanted to make sure of a couple of things. Am I to assume that the chassis disk style 2 fits well in a graflex, the treaded rods then fits in the holes, then the 3/16" OD tubes fit around the threaded rods as chassis spacers. I'm sure they fit together as I described, just want to be certain before I buy. Are there anything else I should keep in mind re these items and their assembly? Thanks

Graflex and MHS ID's are not the same.

a bit of PVC heatshrink around it will fix that though.

If you get the chassis disk style 1 it should fit inside the graflex...it's OD is 1.31" so it will still have some wiggle inside a graflex, but not as much wiggle as the style 2.

If the chassis is secured to the bladeholder (like most Gflex builds) then there won't be any (shouldn't be any) rattling. Just sayin'...
