Wow Az, looks really good.
I like the groove on the top of the shroud to let the light from the BH through. I like the extra detail in the crystal chamber (the tiny screen). Looks great!

I do like this one and feel that even though you've givin it a. . "proto" status.. she(or he) may find a very very willing home who could see it as P e r f e c t... remember beauty, my friend, is the eye of the beholder... I say.. good job 4.5/5 (not into the screen thing, plus I'm picky)... ehh screw it 4.75/5 (+.25 for a ***y rebuild )

actually the area around the switches under the shroud looks like swiss cheese...

I've also moved the recharge port up above the AV switch (which had barely enough room) with the nut under the sleeve, reheatshrank the board and battery, and sealed the pommel the rest of the way. the speaker holder rotates a lot better now and the uSD card is much easier to get to.

that might be part of the problem with your loudness, needs more ventilation.

no, it's a lot louder this way. with ventilation in the pommel it sounded weaker than my weakest econo setup. like this, it has a nice deep throaty bass to it and is almost as loud as my other 2 PC-Ls.
