Thread: Two defunct chargers?

    Default Two defunct chargers?

Howdy, ya'll. First post in a while, sorry it has to be for this. It's not really a store issue, but I wasn't sure what forum to put it in, as the charger really doesn't have that much to do with the saber itself.

I purchased an Ultra-fast NiMH charger from the store about a year ago. Worked great until a coupla months ago, and then it stopped charging batteries, or even showing that it was receiving power from the wall. I figured, okay, the wiring in my house isn't exactly top-of-the-line, maybe a power surge got it.

But here's the kicker. I just pulled another of the same charger out of it's packaging not ten minutes ago, and I'm not getting power to the charging bays from any of the outlets in my house.

    Plz halp?

If you have 2 batteries make sure it is set to "2", and four "4". I know this seems simple, but if it is not set right, it will not give you any light. If it is not that, then I got nothin'.

Well, I'm not too sure what the issue was with the new one. After fiddling around with the wires, I managed a connection and got it charging.

So, Back to the first theory: Power surge blew the first one, second one was a worthwhile purchase.
