My Sith lightsaber so far

Here is my Sith lightsaber so far. I hope the shroud is ok. I'm going to paint it flat black with 3 coats and then weather it some when the weather gets warmer, also putting the protective coating in the paint too, and on the bottom part of the main base of the hilt I'm wrapping leather for a grip around it. Also how would I go about attatching the shroud to the main base of the hilt? Thanks. How does the lightsaber look so far? And yes I know its un-even but I like the un-eveness. Its my own unique touch. The main forums picture uploader wouldn't work for me for some reason so, yeah. Also is the main base hilt deep enough for the 1.25 sinktube blade holder? Also how would I go about setting that into place?

Is it a lightsaber or just a shroud? It is hard to tell from the pics but all I can pick out is shroud.

It has an interesting look but I usually build the shroud to suit my saber, not vice versa. Do you have a rendering of what you want the finished saber to look like?

The piece with my guitar in the background is the shroud. And I can't really do sabers in paint or anything so, yeah. But I will try to draw it.

Here are better pics of my lightsaber. All I need to know is how to get the shroud attached to the main base of the hilt and maybe how to set the led/blade holder assembly in the 1.25 shroud part. Thanks.

Edit: I will be using the 1.25 sinktube blade holder as well, sorry that I forgot to mention that part. x.x Should be less confusing now.

Shroud looks ok especially now I can kinda see where your going (looks good so far!) just be careful and dont get ahead of yourself. Since you will be using the 1.25 bh you COULD use the screws (I like button heads ) to secure the shroud + to the inner pipe + and the bh. It would be a strong connection and cut down on extra screws but of course there are many ways of doing it so thats just an idea.
