Thread: F cell?

  1. #1

    Default F cell?

Anyone ever tried using an f-cell battery?

1.5v and up and a few thousand mah.

And they're just about the right size to just about fit in a standard diameter hilt.

    Have a link? The ones I've seen are 1.3" x 3.5".

There is a simple math formula for Saber names.-----------------------To check out the sound fonts I've made:

Are you talking about this one?

Thats a heck of a lot of capacity and a max discharge of 90A means it might be useful for a SSR-90?

1.3" wouldnt work in straight MHS hilt sections but what about using a 1.5" sinktube with MHS-to-sinktube adapters for the bladeholder and pommel?

I was pretty sure the general consensus on li-po was that it was too unstable for something to be held in your hand. If that's not the case, then this would be pretty cool, with the sinktube section idea.

Li-Po has come a long way, but it's still too unstable in its outputs to use in a saber and still runs the risk of explodifying if you don't use a perfectly matched PCB. also, if you short it out it WILL explodify. though it's perfect for the iphone 4! ^_^

    NiMH instead of Li-Po.

    1.2v instead of 3.2 though.
