Saving Items in Shopping Cart Concerns

Have you tried saving it to your wishlist? I had a dozen things saved in mine for over a week with no problems.

yeah i have to save everything to my wishlist too.

Mine used to.... but when I stay logged in by selecting remember me or what ever it is then it doesn't happen anymore...same thing with getting booted out of the TCSS chat.

i have that checked and it only remembers my username so i don't need to type that in when i log back in.

I did a little experimentation (I used to be a software tester at work ) and noticed this behaivor:

1. Log in and save an item to the cart.
2. Wait 30 minutes and refresh the page, auto logout occured.
3. Log back in
4. Go to cart

Result:
Worked as expected; item was there.

However, if you do the following, it won't work well:

1. Log in
2. Put an item in your cart
3. Wait 30 minutes until the auto log out
4. Add something else to the cart
5. Log back in

Result: Only the new item is in the cart; previous items are lost.

Thus, there are two workarounds:
Save to the wishlist and put in cart when ready to buy.
Instinctively remember to log in each time before adding anything to the cart.
