Huge news about the Petit Crouton/New TCSS Soundboard

I didn't seem to be able to find an exact answer, please someone flame me if I am wrong if this has been mentioned...

I understand I am not able to change the soundfont of the PC-L, but would I be able to change the boot sound (ie from beep to... a quote from a movie) to whatever I wished.

I am thinking not, but just wanted to make sure.

This was made in response to some questions or concerns about the board that were expressed at FX-Sabers, but I feel it may be appropriate here as well.

As far as I know, the boot can be changed as well as the parameters.

I am very sure someone mentioned in this topic or the one over at fx that we can't change the boot font.

Not to downplay your info, but I consider fender a very reliable source. So, unless you can produce a direct quote (which I will be more than happy to see and credit you with your recall) I am going to believe the sabersmIth who had active participation in the release in this board.

If you are right however, I congradulate you in superior memory recall.

Upon further reading of the first post, it is stated the configuration and led driver files are unlocked because it does not require the reformatting of the SD card. The boot.wav file is listed under the configuration file in the PC manual. So, it seems fender is correct if I read all of that clearly.

Maybe I should just plug in the SD card and test it out for myself...

Changing the boot sound voids the warranty. Yes, this is the definitive word

Fender is talking about the PC-U.
