I think the contest entries are great...and I like that people are free to vote on whatever criterion they choose. I voted using my own rationale, others used theirs; all the votes are a contribution as are all the entries. It is exactly the wide range of different personal interpretations of the idea of what sabers 'could' be that makes this contest and this hobby always interesting to me and makes me always eager to see every new saber posted here and on the various saber forums.

Bravo! to everyone involved in this.

i voted for the ones that tasted good to my eyes and sang to me. and of course i love silver as well, so polished aluminum with bright lights attracts me like a bug to a zapper. ^_^

you know, i see people complaining about that as well... simply because of entries 1 and 6... but then again, you can't please everyone all the time, right?
