Dart Gun Saber

I got this small flash gun with a set and I have been wanting to make something with it for a while. I got the idea of making a dart gun with it. It doesn't shoot the dart too far but it is a nice effect. (If it went too far I might put an eye out. LOL) This is a work in progress for now. I am working on machining the blade holder and will try to get this finished up in the next 2 weeks. I am open to suggestions on where to put a switch for the saber. I was thinking about the pommel but I guess I will figure it out when I see how much room I have left after the electronics.

You might find some flashing by in rapid succession.
Heck, there may even be some sound

btw, how about putting the switch on the bottom of the dart-thingy?
A nice place to push it with the thumb...
Plus, some visible wire might add to the utalitarian look.

I think cyan or amber blade.
It could also be cool if you found a gun soundboard from a toy and somehow hooked it up to the trigger switch.

I am thinking of more of a Mando theme. Like if a Mando killed a Jedi, took his lightsaber as a trophy and put a dart gun on it to make it more useful to him. I will probably paint it with a Boba paint scheme. Either that or just weather it a lot.

I know you don't want the dart to go too far, but that spring is too wimpy.

I'd still see if I could put a stronger spring in it to make it look like it means business. Right now, it's kinda sad looking when the dart "fires".
