I like the saber, I LOVE how the shroud brings it together with some depth/color contrasts.. maybe go with a black blade retention? looks great anyhow
When I originally designed this one, it used a set screw for blade retention. The wife didn't want to use a tool every time she took out the blade, so I got a thumbscrew for her. Personally, I still think the set screw looks better in this saber, but she can choose whatever she likes
