visualizing powder coating

I have seen renderings in posts on the forum of saber builds from the mhs builder with the different ways powder coating can be done on a specific piece. I'm not even sure this makes any sense but i really cant think of any other way to ask. How do i do that with the mhs system?

Do you mean in the builder? If so save your build then "paint" the parts in another program like paint or photoshop. If you mean the real life parts, Tim offers powder coating as a service with codes for each style at the store.

Tim has visuals of which parts can be painted, just visit his Services page (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Services-C50.aspx), click on any of the powder coating services for details of the parts that can be painted. You can even use some of those pictures as reference or overlays on your saber build. Then do like Iamdrake said and photoshop a different color on them.
