    Default New PVC saber build

This is a new PVC saber I built for my friend.
Kingbright RGB 3w LED (only used blue, but other two colors were nice I was trying for purple but the blend was not right.)
    4 pack AAA
    Purple antivandal switch
    Obi-Wan economy sound
    1inch 8ohm IPOD upgraded speaker
TCSS blade custom internal wrap diffuser and pointy tip[/CENTER]

(Sorry some of the pics were blurry it was 1:30 am when I finished and took these. Enjoy

Thanks, I based it off the Starkiller from Force unleashed II. My 37 year old friend looked like he was 12 again when I handed it to him. The smile was way worth the build!!

The interesting part is how to use a antivandal switch that close to the the emitter and still have enough blade stock inside the tube to be stable.... That was the fun part!

Dude, that's a sweet design. It kind of has the new Starkiller look to it. Great work man.

Thanks! I was wondering when you would see this! LOL I was shooting for something close to that, but had to make certain allowances since I don't own a lathe yet. I'll tell you though, there is only about 2-3 inches of blade stock in that thing due to the forward placement of that switch... At first even anchored down it(the Blade) wobbled and at midnight on the build I figured out how to get it right. When I gave it to my friend it was completely stable, and though it could be used for dueling I would not trust it for too long. Good thing is it is only a show piece for his man-cave!! And yes the blade is completely removeable I did not appoxy it in.
