SSR90 2 amp comparison

Many people have asked for some info on the SSR90 running at 2 amps now that the CF V5 will do that.

So I have some info for those of you. All pics are with normal lighting on.

In the dark the difference is more dramatic. With more light less so.

The comparison blade is a MR 2005 Luke ROTJ which is comparable in brightness to a normally driven rebel setup.

The SSR90 blade is a 38 in total length TCSS trans white thin wall with 7ft of cellophane & mirror tip.

Note the SSR90 is using a lens I stole out of a headlamp it is not (drop in).

Here you can see the SSR90 is a lot brighter near the hilt and a little brighter at the far end than the Luke. It turned out as the data sheet says,........ Boo Coo Lumens however it's driven.






Now I will add 4.5 amp pics which is how this thing wants to be driven.

Here you can see even in a well lit room the Luke looks shameful.

with that thing i think that if you get a set of coils from a black hole generator or particle accelerator you might be able to make a real blade...

2 18650s are enough power and the fan gets rid ofthe heat.
