Thread: A Shadow Trooper Hilt

  1. #1

    Default A Shadow Trooper Hilt

This saber was built for Darth Blasphemous. He really like the trooper hilt I built for Amptrooper & asked if I could do a Shadow Trooper hilt for him with out it looking like a black & grey version of Amptroopers or Mcquarries. So I tweaked my trooper design & made it look a little darker. Here are the specs.

The hilt is all pvc construction, pvc speaker chamber, TCSS premium speaker, round 3 AAA battery holder, TCSS black covertec wheel, AV red dot mom switch with bezel, Green Goblin sound board, 3/4" copper end cap led assembly(red p4, lens & holder), TCSS trans white 1" thick walled blade stock with out diffuser.
Sorry for the bad quality of the pics. My wife broke our camera. These were shot with our video camera.

And video. It's the same as in the general hilt building thread.

I'm quite proud of this one.
WOW pics are really bad. Sorry

Even for "bad" pictures it looks pretty sweet. Hard to believe what you did with PVC...

Dude, you make some awesome PVC sabers. You are now the King of PVC Sabers. (I am sure you can make your own Crown from PCV too. hehe)

Another crazy amazing PVC hilt. I got a lot of my ideas for working with PVC from your work. Very inspiring.

    No... you're lying.
That is NOT PVC... it just can't be...

I was thinking the same thing as I was looking at the pics of this newest saber of yours.

Drake, you're funny dude. Thanks Scott, nope, it's all pvc. 1" for the main body of the hilt, 1 1/4" for the grips, 1st layer of the switch plate & shroud, & 1 1/2" for the 2nd layer of the switch plate & shroud. I keep saying, never underestimate the power of pvc.

Thanks J-Lo. Wade can be pretty funny.
