Default How much do you think it would cost...

To special order a saber I build online to have a sound board installed and ready? I was just wondering because I really need all the info I can get on his custom stuff. I'm in a tug between two saber companies and it's a tough fight.

If you're undecided about who to go with, go with the css. The quality of his parts are really unmatched by other sites, and the shipping time is next to nothing.

Well what I meant was that I have a saber I have made on css but I haven't ordered it yet, how much would it cost to have Tim install a sound board along with it. The board doesn't have to be good either, as long as he sees it as average and usable.

Again why don't you ask Tim about the cost of the sound board installed instead of asking everyone else. I would not try to play Tim, Ultra and Corbin againist each other in a price war because it will backfire on you they all share information and they don't apreciate that type of game and will not play it. You just need to find the saber you like and buy it and if you can't afford it, save up till you can, this is a forum for people to exchange ideas and share information not to price shop.

Well... instead of continually posting about it you need to contact Tim. He's quite swamped as the front page says though.

He only recently started offering soundboards pre-installed in the MHS parts. I think based on the other topic you started though you VASTLY under-estimate how easy it'd be to try it yourself. You can estimate though based on the previous offerings. I believe it was $60 for the pommel and MHS section soundboard installed. All you'd have to do is solder six wires and you have it working.

Yes, the double connector is used to connect 2 MHS hilts. Theoretically you could also use two adapters to use it with sinktubes, but there is also a connector offered for those.

I reckon it's a good thing that Do-Clo and xwing got this before me, I am feeling the shift to the dark side coming[}]

I would say if it is so tough to pick out of two builders then get one of each.
