Default So, would I be able to send a saber to tim?

Would I be able to order a custom hilt from somewhere else, send it in along with an RGB emitter, would he be able to install a soundboard and the 5w rgb emitter and attach the proper dimmable switches?

That is something Tim would have to answer. I think it kind of defeats the purpose to buy a hilt from somewhere else though. That is totally up to you though. There plenty of other places that will build you custom hilts and also do electronics for a fee.

Also there is no such thing as a 5W RGB. There is a 3W RGB (1W Red + 1W Green + 1W Blue = 3W) and a 4W RGBY. I'm not being picky, I just don't want you to be mistakenly thinking that you'll get 5W LED color brightness out of each. Each color is a 1W.

Instead of going through buying a hilt one place a led somewhere else, why not just talk to Tim about making the saber you want, it will be alot less hassle. Personally I would build it myself.[]

I am a little confused here. Do you want to build a saber yourself or have one done for you? If you are looking to get a hilt custom machined then like the others said you can contact Tim through e-mail or go with some of the other great guys out here that have the equipment to turn something for you. Ambo, Madcow, JediSaberSmith are just a few great guys off the top of my head that may be able to do something for you if Tim is to busy. I think that you would have more fun trying to do it up yourself with the insides though.
