Default LM's Obi ROTS Hero with CF

Well, it's been a while since I posted a saber build. Here's my latest; an Obi Wan ROTS Hero saber equipped with an older CF.

    Specs:
    CFV3
4x AAA 1000mAh NiMH battery pack
    Custom greeblies
    Custom BlingStrip
    Blue Rebel LED
    Chassis with PowerRod technology
Baked on enamel paints (super durable)

Closeups of the BlingStrip. Special thanks to Hon_Rev for this, it's fantastic!

Greeblies. Right one is lowbatt LED, left one is the kill key. My camera didn't like capturing the lowbatt as it is meant to be viewed only from one angle.

    Breakdown of the chassis

Once again, my camera didn't like getting closeups of this. The pics are all a bit blurry.

    Illuminated!

another great saber! and i was really impressed with your connections between the sound/crystal chamber module and your lux module, a simple and well conceived system. this time im going to have to sample your customs brother!

    Very nice Alec!!!!

Question: Are those model train track connectors your using there? Ingenious! How do you get it to not twist?

very beautifully done. the bling strip is a bit much for me, but still adds to the overall design very well. and i love the connections. ^_^

    Exactly what I was thinking!
What a great idea! However, a few model railways I've built, the 00 Gauge track connectors aren't the best for transferring power, I've had to fiddle with quite a few to get power flowing right.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, it's train track. I haven't noticed any loss of power. The saber is nice and bright
