are you using the hasbro econ or mr obi board? with the hasbro ya need a tip42, with the mr your looking at a direct drive off the board no resistor needed

the hasbro 2010 obi wan board is what i will be using....already have the tip42....and the wiring schematic

ok i've run into 2 problems with my build the blade holder doesn't want to go all the way down with the holder and lens

second after i used the tcss speaker getting static and feedback ....any advice would be appreciated


also was wondering which battery setup would be the best so i don't crunch the board the 2AA battery holder or the 4AAA battery holder ...thanks

lens isn't properly placed, i often have that issue. You need to fiddle it back in space and it all works. DON'T FORCE.

Can't help with TCSS speaker, mine is sitting in a box.

thanks...hardest part i believe was wiring that micro switch very delicate soldering
