Brilliant. I have a few pieces set aside to do a saber with a wide lip and a knuckle bow, but I hadn't thought to be so literal about the rapier aesthetic. I dig it, man.

It's less than a pound, and the two-finger balance test puts the center of gravity right in the open face of the emitter.

The only thing I have to add other than it being unique and good work
is... you should go with a 3/4 blade.
the more diminutive a hilt needs a thinner blade to look more ... scale? for lack of a better word...
that and its a rapier crossover.. so thinner would work well
