It depends... all of them have it but some would say it's worse on the Luke ROTJ because we are more sensative to green.
Just Convert them to Luxeon anyway. That's a good way to get rid of "spots".[]

do luxeons have even lighting? from the pics. i've seen it is considerably brighter at the base of the blade than it is at the top.
They are not evenly lit, no. The LED is in the hilt so the blade is brighter at the base. I have a Vader FX with a blue Luxeon and it's dimmest point is about the same as my Anakin FX, so far as I can tell, while the base of the blade is many times brighter. Plus, removable blades! Hilts I can carry around on my belt without the awkward blade getting in the way.

The luxeon is brighter at the base but with Tim's diffuser the blade is fairly even the rest of the way. Take a look at some of the pictures in the gallery section.

It's still possible to convert them it's just harder without a kit. He's working on all of them though. The Anakin and Maul kits should be here shortly.

when will the luke rotj kit be in? if i got one converted, that would be the one.

how even is the lighting for the ultrasabers conversion?
I don't have an Ultra conversion (yet) but I do have a Vader FX converted to a blue Luxeon, and with a mirror in the tip of the blade it's lit very well at the end, nowhere near as bright as the base of the blade, but at least as light as my Anakin FX.
