Here is the one I would really like to make look old. Would like to do that this weekend, but I have no clue how to weather it. Should I literally just beat it around and cook it?

Any other ideas are very welcome, keep in mind this will be only my second one I've made.

    Great Pics!
But they need to be 600x800 Max.

I have yet to build a weathered saber, so here is a cool tutorial on how to weather you saber in oil.

Default I dont know if you are still looking for ideas but here you go.

First off I am by no means an expert in saber construction. Infect I am working on my very first saber. I have a pic of some of the weathering I did on mine that I can share with you if this is the kind of look you are interested in. Just as a side note this saber is not completed I still have work I need to do to it but it will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Separate the parts and spray on some black enamel spraypaint (the kind that you use to paint your BBQ after the black paint fades on it) and let it dry. Then, sand it to the desired weathering effect. Apply 2-3 coats of glossy clear coat, and then bake it at 350 for 3 hours in an old toaster oven that you don't use anymore for food....and there you go.

It's just one of many methods. Do some searches for more tips and tricks. Good luck.
