Question Some wiring help with a new project!

Hello everyone, I have been working on a project that involves a telescoping digital camera lens. I want to rig up a switch that would allow the lens to open and extend and then close and retract with another push of the switch. I have found the motor in the camera that allows this to happen, but what I found has totally puzzled me. When you connect the positive to the negative one way to the motor it extends out, and when you connect them the other way it retracts. I have no idea on how to make my switch now. I really hope some out there in saberland could help me out with this one. Thank you for your time!

You might need a double throw switch?

Yes! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. It was called a double pole double throw switch. I found a guide on youtube after looking up double throw switch. I will post some pictures to show what I am working on as soon as it's done about mid next week. Thanks again Jedi-Loreen!

    I don't think it's saber related.

just saying it would be sweet to have some kind of saber that transformed and all sorts of parts appeared at the push of a button, would be quite fragile though, i once dropped my mums camera and the telescopic lens broke and wouldnt retract again
