    That Qui-Gon is sooo sweet!! The design looks like it would be real easy to handle for dueling too. []

    where did you get that qui-gon jin saber,it is pure hotness,i would love to make a replica of it myself,if someone can post a tutorial for both qui-gon,and obi ep one saber,please.

    I've thought about buying acryllic plastic and machining the main black section of a Qui-Gon myself. Do these replicas use plastic or metal for the black part?

    Oh... and also - does anyone know where to get the annodized red buttons?

    The Qui-Gon grip is metal. Infact, the whole thing is machined. The pommel is even threaded!

    Hehe, thanks. When I got home and was able to test fit my machined hilts, I couldn't believe the perfect for for 3 hilts! Eventually, I'll have a machined Mace Windu Ep.2/3 hilt to add in there. My 3 favorite movie hilts all together, and in sweet machined goodness.

    i found the same knobs at the hardware store. they were black, and a simple fix to paint them. and also you can get them at romansempireproductions.com
