Sweet. About time you posted some more brassy saber for us. I'm hooked on mid hilt chokes myself and they seem to work best when your hand is below it with index and thumb wrapping the choke, or with a longer choke you can grip just above the choke. Either way comfort and style can be a juggle and I'm glad to see you try some new with the choke placement. It doesn't look any longer then your other builds to me.
*sigh* sometimes sabers make me cry tears of joy just because of thier existence...this is one of them...*sniff* well done
