Wiring an illuminated push button switch?

Hello,

Would it be possible to use this button from radioshack in combination with the Lux 3 red LED kit from the stor?:

SPST 10A 12VDC Illuminated Push Button Switch with Red LED

essentially I'd replace the included switch with this one. What confuses me is that it has three prongs, so how would i figure positive and negative, and what is the third prong for?


from the description: 12vdc 10A.
Would this affect the kind of resistor I would need to get?

I'm making two sinktube sabers and just waiting for the parts from TCCS to arrive (the blades, mhs to sinktube adapters, blade holders, lux kits) and would like to use this switch to activate the Lux 3.

Any advice on how to do this, if possible, would be appreciated!
