Default Parts list for a birthday present for myself, input requested.

Alright im trying to build a lightsaber first one, i have looked at this website for years ever since trolling a website that had an article about making lightsabers using EL blades, and i believe that is the first time i saw this website get posted, well anyways, here is the list, please tell me what you think of the design, and make sure im not missing anything, thanks,
p.s. im kinda going for smooth or uncomplicated look here,

Build Your Own Seoul P4 Electronics Kit, green
LED "Corbin style" Battle blade 1" OD (38 inches)
Screw on LED blade holder style 13
7" Fluted with standard style switch hole
    MPS Pommel style 4
    MPS Clip
    MPS Insert style 4
    2 Wire quick connector
    Drill & Tap Hole (8-32)
(to be honest i would rather pay to have it done rather than try it myself, if i make another i will do it myself)
    8-32 x 3/8" Set Screw

I think that you will be fine.

About the corbin blade, I suggest dual wrap and get some cellophane in it. Really evens it out.

Otherwise, I think you are good to go...

    (No covertec/D-ring?)

I think it needs choke behind the blade holder...add one and it will look a bit like this:

Without a choke, it's a little short, and looks....well, stubby. And unless you have a pair of snap ring pliers, the MPS clip is going to be a bit difficult to install. You can skip that and just use a #18 o-ring instead. A #20 may also work. I'd also suggest upgrading the battery pack in the P4 kit (if you haven't already) to a AA holder instead of the AAA. AA's will last longer.

Outside of all that, I think you've got everything you'll need, and I must say I kind of like the design!

Excellent, i will think about what choke/extension i want then, thanks for the advice.

About D ring, i was going to add one to the pommel insert( i was going to rivet it),
And i was going to go for the double wrap on the blade.

Alright thursday i order my parts, I have stayed with the design in the above post, but i have added a embedded AV switch (i know its momentary so i also ordered a pololu board to make it latching) And i happened to pick up a lightsaber with dvd today i may take the sound of eventually, so wish me luck when i get my pieces i will post an update.

It looks a lot like what I'm saving my pennies up for.

Are you missing the AV bezel between the switch and the main hilt body? If you had one, it would seat the switch properly.

He's using a nickel plated AV switch from the store. They are a lot shorter and can be used without the bezel.

It is really necessary to quote someone's post when you're replying right below it?

And it's kind of annoying when the person you're quoting has pics in their post and you quote those too.

See how Skott didn't just quote your quote and end up with the same pics in his response to you? He only quoted the pertinent part of your post that he was replying to.
