Thread: Parks LED Conversion

    Default Parks LED Conversion

I have to ask if anyone has converted a Parks Saber to LED? I'm reluctant to do so, but the question was posed. Their hilts are definately of quality construction yet we're now in the age of LED. Any words of wisdom?

Depends on the model... someone created a topic and said they did it. Obviously some are not going to work well while others would be just fine if you can mount the LED.

    not Parks,
but I think Yoda over at Fx-sabers converted a Larbel Obi-Wan TPM from an EL to luxeon. NO sound, but it's nice to have Obi-Wan's TPM saber.

I still have my Larbel Obi-Wan that can be fitted with stuff, but I'm waiting to see if someone can finagle an MR sound board into it.

    that would be awesome!

I have converted a Larbel Obi-Wan TPM hilt. The LED was no problem and I kept the 3/4" blade. Upsizing the blade to 1" is also possable, I just decided to keep it the same. There is NO ROOM FOR SOUND in this hilt. Here's a pick..........

Hey JSS your a braver man than I! I had a Obi Larbel aswell I recently sold. I didn't see hoe anything would fit in there w/o extreme modding. The bottom section of mine was solid so I didn't see how I was going to fit a battery in there. Maybe we had diff models...

There is hardly any room in there. Its running on 4AAA and I hade to shave down the battery holder to make it fit.
