Default Step by Step of my latest saber

Ok well here are the first shots from my newest saber, as far as I can tell its the first of its kind.

    A Slide open Crystal Chamber....

    SWEET!

This one needs some serious sanding to smooth of the "forgiving" of the PVC..... dremel stays in one spot for to long and you got a void.

    I like the application...

if the screws were smaller/tiny.. I think it would be even more of a 'win'..

(one day these things will go great on a METAL saber)..

I LOVE this. I was actually thinking of doing something like this myself, but it seems you've beaten me to the punch! I do agree that the screws should be smaller...Unless that's a part of the design?

strong work - looking forward to seeing this one finished!

Ideally, this would have some kind of bump stop or hidden notch so that when the cover nears the end of it's "track" it kind of clicks into place to let you know that it's fully open or closed.... maybe I"m not describing it well...

    but neat concept!
