Wait a second. "All Alumi parts anodized black"? That's not powder coating? I didn't know anodized parts could be made so glossy. Did you do the anodizing yourself?

Great looking saber. Definitely more pics!
oops..wrong thread! LOL..
still great work.. the led/bar graph looks sweet in the elongated hole..
Oh...my...God...that saber is gorgeous! The polished brass over the glossy black. Total win.
Boy, that turned out really nice!

This is an incredibly beautiful saber. Everything flows. I am liking the bar graph as well. Awesome work guys!
Very eligant looking - I real winner.
I want to find someone in the Seattle, WA area that does anodizing - I've got several saber idea's and anodizing is what I want on the finish.
Most anodizing is "soft anodizing." Anything with a bright color is "soft anodized." Soft anodization is fairly easily scratched. (The parts used in Parks/korbanth hilts are soft-anodized.) Hard anodizing results in black or gray, and while it is far more scratch resistant, it is also much more expensive, and color choices are quite limited. (In hard anodization, the temperature of the acid used has to be lowered to near-freezing.) Powder coating is more durable than soft anodizing, but less durable than hard anodizing. And while anodizing can basically only be done on aluminum, powder coating will work on any metal. Just thought you might like some info before deciding that anodizing is necessarily the way to go.
