Alright, first of all, try to make a understandable post instead
of a trying to put lots of stuff in one sentence kind of deal...

    Second of all, read.
    A lot.
    And then some more.

You are asking about how to make a crystal chamber,
there are a lot of posts about the subject, but they are usually
made custom to the your specific setup.

And i get the feeling you dont really know what some parts are for,
like the covertec wheel on your blade holder.
Beside it being upside down (which is a common newbie mistake),
the placement leaves be to beleave you are not that familiar with
    lightsaber parts in general.

Although, i could be making a premature assumption, and you actually intend it
    to be there....

Anyway, read some more, then ask.

Why dont you, i dont know, start here?

There's nothing wrong with putting a covertech knob on the blade holder if you want it to hang pommel side down. It does still need a blade retention screw though. The real problem is that the crystal chamber piece is M/M. Until you are more familiar with the parts, keep the thread hints on. You can turn them back off for taking pictures. Otherwise I second everything Mihunai said.

actually i do know what a belt clip is for, i put it on that end because on previous lightsabers ive built or bought i find it is more comfortable to take off

Actually, if one wanted to put the covertech on the blade holder, the screw could be used for blade retention.

Why would that be bad? It's an 8/32 size.

Doesn't Vader's saber have the D-ring near the shroud?

    I am just sayin'....

But yes DH, please make sure you read a lot and you will find a plethora of knowledge here. Welcome to the forums and make sure you use the search function to try to find the answers to your questions first.

I'm not sure that that's the best side to put the blade retention screw on that particular blade holder though.

Just do a search for crystal chamber on these forums for examples of setups tried. I can't think of many posts that I've seen that use the MHS piece tho. I have done one but it was a bit of work.

Yeah...I guess it would depend on the BH.

The covertech knob would be loose when the blade is in place. Well not necessarily I guess, but it would be difficult to get the screw just the right length that it holds the knob and the blade secure at the same time.
