Sith Stalker Series saber #2 for Jedi Master Ma'Kata So-gan
A friend of mine (Jedi Master Ma'Kata So-gan (from the RL)) asked that I make him a hybrid version that synthesized the K3GR1 Aqua and the Gladius V2. I told him that the K3GR1 could not be reproduced, but that Icould cut "similar" shrouds added to a frame similar to the Gladius. He agreed and away we went. The guidelines were that the shrouds be brass, the ribbed section be black (in the recesses), the grip section have no screws in the holes, the "light" shine through the BH and that it have an Acerocket Obi-TPM pommel. Electronically, he wanted it to be a stunt with a white blade and that there be accent LEDs in the activator box. I pitched him a custom AoF box with AV switch and again it was a yes. I felt that there should be some brass/gold on the pommel to balance the color scheme so I baked some bright gold enamel on to the cube ring. This is the result:
