Hello,

I first saw Star Wars in 1980 at the age of 5 and was completely mesmerized. I had all the toys etc, but as an adult I kinda put my love for all things Star Wars on the back burner for many years. I found this hobby and site all by accident when I ran into a custom light saber video by Novastar, and was blown away at the beauty and craftsmanship that go into making custom light sabers. I have now been lurking and reading the forums for over a month, slowly gathering the tools and supplies (and trying to understand OHM's law lol) I need to try my hand in this hobby. Great forum and store, I hope to place an order soon and contribute something here in my own way.

Hey Rosedale...I'm also new to this but have had a blast reading the posts in here and learning how to build my first saber. I have to ask...is "Rosedale" the same as "northwest side of Bakersfield"?

This is an awesome site and I hope to build my first saber soon. Not for me, Rosedale is a tribute to my late grandparents Rosie and Dale.

Rosedale, welcome! You really have no idea the scope of the world you've walked into! And I mean that in the best way possible.
