Default Hex or 8 sided Ali extruded sleeve

As some may have seen I am designing a War Machine SW crossover saber and would really like to build this. I need to source some 8 sided Aluminium extrusion, inner diameter of around 37mm between the flats and 2 to 3 mm wall thickness. So far my attempts to source this in Australia have failed. I would also accept 6 sided extrusion, but no joy there either.

Tim, with your comprehensive contacts in USA where just about anything is possible, do you know where I could source this?
    Any help would be appreciated

To get the exact size you are looking for you may have to buy some Hex bar from onlinemetals and bore it out to the exact size. That is what I did for my HEX saber. http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...ead.php?t=8940

Thanks guys, machining a bar stock is not on for me as I don't have the tools. I managed to find some Ali Hex tube (not 8 sided) which is an extension for a milk churn mail box post. Will cut down big enough for War Machine and I have figured out how I can pack it to fit snugly. Colour looks like brassy galvanised, but it will be PC'd or painted anyway. Here is what it looks like

Hmmm....there's promise in that piece....I look forward to seeing the finished product.
