    Default My first mhs custom

    Hey,
I'm new to the custom saber shop forum, but have been on fx-sabers for a couple years and have lurked here a bit.

I wanted to post my first mhs custom I made. It was made a couple months ago and I'm still planning on making an overlay for it.

It's based on the Revan saber from KOTOR

    specs:
    MHS parts
    seoul p4 white
    MR luke ANH soundboard
    4 aaa batteries
    speaker
    ultraedge blade
    lee filters

    Nice first post!!!

I was going to say very elegant, but it is tougher than that...

I like the design in and of itself, I would incorperate some sort of overlay to make it all "fit" together.
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...

Nice! Please post when the overlay is done. I'm going to use a yellow filter on something at some point too. Nice pic you've got there. Don't see too many yellow blades for some reason?

Thanks, I've always liked Revan as a character and wanted to base my first custom off of his saber. This is the best I could get to it using MHS parts instead of custom parts.

    *Psssst!* Revan's female.

At least when I play KoToR.

    hehehe....
Good start, Look forward to seeing it finished. Overlays can be really nice, but I suggest you take your time to experiment as there are so many styles and variations possible.

This thread might be helpful. I also added tips on securing a cut template so that it's straight. A slight twist can even throw off a simple design.
