Thread: Viridis Vespa - Cordaroyfog's First MHS Saber

Default Viridis Vespa - Cordaroyfog's First MHS Saber

This is my first MHS saber, I have named it "Viridis Vespa" which is Latin/Italian for "Green Hornet/Wasp" which I like because the emitter looks like a stinger to me.

It was supposed to have sound but the sound on the MR board suddenly stopped and despite testing everything I cannot figure out why, so for now it is a stunt.

    It has:

    Seoul P4 Green
MR Yoda Sound Board (no sound at the moment)
Latching Switch (sanded down the plastic threads to fit in the hole)
    NIMH 4.8V Battery Pack
    Recharge Port
    White Pommel Accent LED

    FEATURED IN THE PHOTOS:
    -New TCSS Blade Plug (Clear)
    -New TCSS Kill Plug 2
-Star Wars Stand by Darth Xanthus

With Ultra Blade (no flash)/(with flash)

    Cool.

Though I would have put the blade retention screw on the other side of the blade holder.

    Good looking saber.

While I have no problems with which side of the blade holder that the blade retention screw is on, it seems a bit too far towards the tip to be as effective as it could be.

Nice! looks cool. The textured PC lathed out of the grips really stands out. I do have to agree with J-lo since the screw on the other side would be pushing your blade toward a larger surface and make more durable.

Nice saber.... As far as the blade retention screw, I used mine on the same spot, with the same blade holder, and never had any problems... If you really look at it, if you put it on the other side, it would be sorta low...
