Thread: My first sinktube saber!

    Default My first sinktube saber!

Hello all. This is my first saber. I'd like to thank everyone who has answered my questions without even knowing it. Every question I had I found the answer through searching for the answer. I found the answer to every question I had. This whole forum has been extremely helpful.

The saber is a sinktube with a brass pipe overlay. It has a Lux III amber LED. Darth Vader Force Action soundboard(kinda sucks and the swing sensor is way too sensitive). I also have a 1000ma buck puck in there as well. It runs off 4AAA's. I'm sure the blade could be brighter and the electronics could be better, but I'm happy with it being my first saber.

    Very nice first job!
Just be careful where you stick that thing or who you point it at!

Whoa dude... that is one sharp overlay! A weapon without a blade for sure.

Nice overall job on the build (are you going to file down that tip?)

Very nice saber, though may I suggest grinding down that point a wee bit as to prvent injury.

Amazing job! I like the shroud work but the tip is too long/pointy. A slightly longer version of the underside would suit the design better IMO.

Nice build, but that shroud is way too dangerous. I wouldn't be surprised if you were not let into a Convention if you had that with you, you could kill someone with that.

If I was dueling with you, I'd be trying to hit that spike to see if I could bend it.
